French Southern Territories [France]

A collection of islands in the South Pacific, the French Southern Territories have no permanent civilian or child population. In fact, the entirety of its 120-200 seasonal inhabitants are adult teams of researchers or military personnel. It is officially associated with the Antarctic territory claimed by France, though France’s sovereignty over the latter is not internationally recognised.
