Summary: The overall objective of the course, from a development perspective, is to enhance the right to relevant education to all - an education that empowers the poor and excluded parts of the population to participate as active and informed citizens in all aspects of development.
The following countries have been invited to apply: Afghanistan, Angola, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Botswana, Cambodia, China, Colombia, Cuba, East Timor, Egypt, El Salvador, Ethiopia, Guatemala, Honduras, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Kenya, Laos, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Nicaragua, Peru, The Philippines, Rwanda, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Swaziland, Tanzania, Uganda, Vietnam and Zambia. Application deadline: 1 March 2006
