INTER-AMERICAN COMMISSION: 128th Session

[WASHINGTON, D.C., 3 July 2007] - The Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) will hold its 128th session in Washington, D.C., from 16 - 28 July 2007.

During the sessions, the IACHR will analyse petitions, cases and precautionary measures, as well as thematic and general reports on human rights.

Audio recordings of all public hearings will be available on the Inter-American Commission’s website. Some of the hearings will be webcast live on the website of the Organisation of American States (OAS).

CRIN will be providing updates on child rights at the session in English and Spanish on its special news page on child rights at the Inter-American Commission.

Child rights will feature in the public hearings listed below, which will be held on 18 and 20 July. For a full list of hearings, click here.
