2nd Eastern and Southern Africa (ESAR) Birth Registration Conference (26-30 September 2005)

Summary: Plan Kenya is organising the Second Eastern and Southern Africa Birth Registration Conference in September 2005. About 200 delegates from 25 countries in the region are expected to attend the conference scheduled to take place in Mombasa. This is a follow-up of the 2002 Anglophone Africa Workshop on Birth Registration held in Uganda, the 2003 observation of "Birth Registration" as the theme of the Day of the African Child, and the Lusophone Conference held in April 2005.
