VIOLENCE: Positive Discipline - What it is and how to do it (Russian)

Summary: This guide addresses the recommendations of the 2006 UN World Report on Violence against Children that calls for the elimination of all corporal punishment of children and the promotion of positive discipline.

It dismisses the common belief that children learn through physical pain and aims to provide concrete answers to parents who want to raise their children without corporal punishment.

Positive discipline is explained through four basic principles that highlight the links among child development, effective parenting and children’s rights.
