The Explanatory Note to the Report on Activities on the Implementation of the OPAC - Russian

Summary: This report provides supplementary information on Kazakhstan’s initial report on the implementation of the OPAC. There are no armed conflicts in the country, but there are refugees, including children, from Afghanistan, Iraq, Ethiopia as well as Chechnya who have been there a long time. There are increasing numbers of people seeking asylum such as the Chinese Uigurs. While the legislation on the protection of child rights complies with the OPAC, the mechanisms and procedures to estimate their implementation have not been fully developed. pdf: http://www.crin.org/docs/Kazakhstan_KNWGPRCR_NGO_Report (RU).doc
