The Russian-language book “Child Rights: the necessity of introduction of new protection mechanisms” summarises the historical evolution of children’s rights in the Russian Federation along with the current legal framework for child rights protection and provisions of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child in the context of the current socio-economical situation in Russia. The book is published in cooperation between Save the Children Norway in Russia and the Ombudsman for Children’s Rights in Moscow.

The material is intended for Ombudspersons in different regions of the Russian Federation as well as a wide range of specialists, experts and students.
