Summary: This report provides supplementary information on Uganda’s initial report on the implementation of the OPSC. It provides an overview of the situation of children in Uganda, emphasizing the urgency required to do everything possible to eliminate violence and exploitation of children. It further analyzes the institutional mechanisms and legal framework in place to support the implementation of the Protocol, highlights the various challenges and makes proposals for better protection of children.
