UNITED KINGDOM: Parole 4 Kids: A Review of the Parole Process for Children in England and Wales

This is a policy paper which sets out the reasons why special mechanisms for a child going through the parole process should be introduced. The report, published by the Howard League for Penal Reform, argues that the lack of a child centred approach within the parole process is an anomaly in the criminal justice system and that the parole board should adopt new procedures when dealing with children.
