UNITED KINGDOM: Child well being declaration

UNICEF UK has launched the Declaration on Child Well-Being in the UK – a call to action for leaders and others to place children and young people centre-stage of their activities.

Following UNICEF’s Child Well-Being in Rich Countries report, in which the UK ranked bottom of the league, UNICEF UK hosted a conference to build a consensus for action.

Young people, politicians, child commissioners and international experts joined together to agree principles and priorities to improve child well-being in the UK. To find out more or sign-up to the Declaration visit http://www.childwellbeing.org.uk/.
