Restoring Playfulness

This book provides a wide variety of different approaches to working
with children who have been psychologically affected by their
experiences of war and displacement. Sensitivity to local culture and
tradition in the countries faced with conflict, an attempt to address
the issues identified by the people themselves, and the desire to
participate and work in an empowering way are seen as key components.
