Public Policy and Social Conditions

This first report by the MONEE Project on the CEE/CIS countries in
transition is now available again to complete the series. It
provides a vital introduction to the evolving situation in Eastern
European countries. The aim, then and now, of the Project is to
provide "more systematic documentation and analysis of welfare
changes underway [and] to provide constructive help in
formulating improved economic and social policies and in
strengthening social safety nets."
