The activities described in the report relate to the Commissioner’s four Strategic Aims, as outlined in his Strategic Plan.

To maximise the impact of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) in Scotland

To influence and promote the effective and sustainable involvement and widespread participation of children and young people

To promote and safeguard the rights of children and young people across Scotland
Strategic Aim 4
To ensure that the office of Scotland’s Commissioner for Children and Young People is efficient, effective and fit
for purpose
