Opening Doors: A Compilation of Laws Protecting Filipino Child Workers

AKAP through the auspices of the International Labour
Organisation, drafted and published the book "Opening Doors - A
compilation of Laws Protecting Filipino Child Workers", which was
launched in October 1996 and presented to Senator Nikki
Coseteng, then Senate Committee Chairperson on Labour. The
book aims to promote awareness and understanding of child
labour laws which may be invoked in protecting the rights of
Filipino child workers. In order to provide the much needed
assistance to all those involved in law enforcement --- labour
inspectors, policemen, prosecutors, judges, social workers,
governmental and non-governmental organisations.
