Involving Young Researchers

This publication demonstrates how young people can be
competently and usefully involved in designing and conducting
research. It explores the issues surrounding whether to involve
young people as researchers and the weays in which they can
participate in the different stages of the research process. The
author details good practice in supporting young researchers,
and examines ethical issues specific to this methodology. The
report is based on participatory research done within Save the
Children, and other organisations, and includes case study
examples.

Involving Young Researchers is intended for practitioners and
researchers who want to carry out, or commission, research
involving young researchers.
