Initiatives within IANSA Network

Summary: At the IANSA meeting during the UN
Conference on Small Arms in New
York (July 2001), a selection of new
projects currently being initiated was
presented.
Those interested in participating in any of these initiatives, should
contact the appropriate contact person in the href="http://www.crin.org/docs/resources/publications/IANSA_Se
p01.pdf">project document which also provides an overview
of each new project in question. For example, one of the new
projects is the Children's Caucus, of which the main focus is to
highlight the impact of small arms on children and to integrate
this focus into other areas relating to small arms. Ultimately it is
hoped that this will help to widen the group of participating
organisations to include, for example, health and humanitarian
organisations.
