Global Monitoring Report 2005

Summary: As many countries strive to expand basic
education, they are also under pressure to
provide children with adequate learning
conditions, a challenge explored in the EFA
Global Monitoring Report 2005, "The Quality
Imperative" to be launched in Brasilia on 8
November. The launch coincides with the
fourth meeting of the High-Level Group on
Education for All in Brasilia, Brazil.
