Every child has the right to a childhood

SCF's summary of the publicaiton

VIOLENCE AGAiNST CHILDREN TAKES MANY FORMS -from bullying
and corporal punishment to family separation and forced
involvement in prostitution. Children are deeply scarred, not just
by what is done to them, but by what they see done to others.
They are hurt by seeing acts of war and terrorism, by witnessing
domestic violence, by being forced to fight in adult wars.

Growing up surrounded by violence and conflict isn't easy. It's
something we wouldn't wish for the world, but it's a daily reality
for millions of young people in the UK and overseas. That's why
we're asking you to help Save the Children from Violence.
Children don't have to feel fright-ened and without love. They
don't have to be homeless and alone.

In this pack you will find more information about children caught
up in violence around the world, and how Save the Children is
helping them. But we can only help such children with your
support. Together we can make a better world for children -
because every child has the right to a childhood.
