CHILDREN WITHOUT PARENTAL CARE: Sweet 16? Young Person's Version

Summary: The law says local authorities (Councils) have a duty to encourage young people to stay in care until they are aged 18. Workers and young people told SCCYP that this does not happen in many areas of Scotland. To find out why this was happening and what effect it has on young people SCCYP spoke to young people and workers about their personal experiences.
