Summary: A detailed study of 2000 households in 4
Indian staets during which around 50 children
were followed closely. The book apart from an
interesting analysis on child agency and
structural constraints vividly describes the
various activities of children from early morning
till late at night. The ethnographic insights
reveal how multifaceted the life of children is.
