Working Group on Children and Violence invites Ms. Marta Santos Pais, the SRSG to exchange common views and strategies

Summary: In the letter dated on 4 June, the WG on Children and Violence extended its congratulations to Ms. Santos Pais on the occasion of her appointment as SRSG on Violence against Children. The Working Group (WG) welcomed the opportunity to work closely with the SRSG towards providing support and input needed to promote the recommendations of the Global Report on Violence Against Children. The WG welcomed an opportunity to meet the SRSG in order to exchange ideas on priorities, strategies and working methods. The text of the letter is attached.
