Two more countries ratify the African Charter on the Rights and Welfare of the Child

Summary: Two more countries have recently ratified the African Charter on the Rights and Welfare of the Child. The Government of Burundi ratified the Charter on 28th June 2004 while the Government of Namibia ratified the Charter on 23rd July 2004. The two governments have already deposited their instruments of ratification with the Commission of the African Union. This brings the total number of countries that have ratified the African Charter on the Rights and Welfare of the Child to 35.
