Stone-throwing minors transferred from Diyarbakır Prison
[TZ, 10 June 2010] - The families of imprisoned youths have been demonstrating outside Diyarbakır Prison over the past three days to protest against a decision by the Ministry of Justice to transfer minors convicted under terrorism laws to various jails around the country. The ministry sent 31 youths to adult prisons in the provinces of Mardin, Midyat, Muş, Malatya, Elazığ, Siirt, Bitlis and Adıyaman. Read the full story.
