Ms. Leda Koursoumba took over the Chairmanship of ENOC


Today, the 16th ENOC General Assembly took place in the Hilton Nicosia Hotel in Cyprus. During the General Assembly meeting, three new Bureau members have been elected while Ms. Leda Koursoumba, Commissioner for Children's Rights in Cyprus, took over the Chairmanship of ENOC from Mr. Marek Michalak, Ombudsman for Children, Poland. 

The newly elected ENOC Bureau consists of:

  • the current Chair: Ms. Leda Koursoumba (Cyprus)
  • the past Chair: Mr. Marek Michalak (Poland)
  • the Chair elect: Mr. Bernard De Vos (Belgium/French community)
  • the Secretary: Mr. Tam Baillie (Scotland)
  • the Treasurer: Ms. Tamara Luksic-Orlandic (Serbia)

Among the issues presented and voted at the General Assembly meeting: ENOC accounts and budgetary situation, the review of Article 8 of the ENOC Statutes, the review procedure of associate members under Article 5 of the ENOC Statutes, the vote of two positions statements and a press release, a brainstorming about future activities of ENOC, update from CRIN...
