European Commissioner promises to take action against child labour

Summary: Louis Michel, the European Commissioner for Development and Humanitarian Aid promises to take action against child labour. After having received 170.000 signatures from the campaign ''Stop Child Labour - School is the best place to work'' Michel said that ''the European Commission would never give budget support to a country that is not serious about combating child labour''.
