Youth and Sustainability Online Skills Share

Summary: Learn from IYP's Action Partners as
they share their expertise,
knowledge
and experiences via online skill
sharing sessions. Based on a peer
learning
model, participants come together in
an online forum to discuss, share
experiences and exchange ideas
around a set theme or skills set.
Sessions
are run for 2 weeks periodically
throughout the year.
PUTTING PLANS INTO ACTION

WHAT IS AN ONLINE SKILLS SHARE?

Learn from IYP's Action Partners as they share their expertise,
knowledge
and experiences via online skill sharing sessions. Based on a
peer learning
model, participants come together in an online forum to discuss,
share
experiences and exchange ideas around a set theme or skills set.
Sessions
are run for 2 weeks periodically throughout the year.

WHO SHOULD TAKE PART IN THIS SKILLS SHARE?

Do you have a plan to help promote sustainable living in your
community? Do
you have a project or plan already developed?
Are you experiencing challenges in making your plans a reality?

If you are working towards making your plans a reality, then this
online
skills share could be for you. Over two weeks you will have the
opportunity
to talk online to other experienced young people from around the
globe who
are involved in turning plans into concrete action.

You will be able to explore ideas, swap experiences and - most
importantly-share skills, best practices and resources related to all
aspects of developing and implementing your initiatives.

TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION:

Various aspects of the planning process can be covered as well as
discussions on:

Developing a clear and realistic vision for your plans
Gaining support and resources for your plans and actions
Working with other people to implement your plans
