Summary: The campaign aims to ensure that every
government that has ratified the Convention
on the Rights of the Child (CRC) lives up to its
responsibility to register all children at birth
and emphasize the need for universal birth
registration among international and local
organisations.

Universal Birth Registration Campaign

Plan Asia and Plan Thailand will mutually organise the launch reception on
its global campaign on Universal Birth Registration on 10 March 2005,
10.30-13.30 at Jamjuree Ballroom (M Floor), Pathumwan Princess Hotel.
The campaign aims to ensure that every government that has ratified the
Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) lives up to its responsibility to
register all children at birth and emphasize the need for universal birth
registration among international and local organisations.

organisation without religious, political or governmental affiliation. We are
global alliance of 60 countries representing a worldwide community sharing
a common agenda for child-centered development and the well-being,
rights and interests of the world's children.
