Summary: Introduction 12 April - 14 May 2010, online, worldwide To open up the discussion and allow the broadest possible participation in the E4 initiative, we will be holding an e-conference prior to the E4 conference in Dakar in May. The e-conference will take place over a period of 5 weeks, betweenĀ April 12th and May 14th. Each week will focus on one of the themes emerging from theĀ situation analysis produced for the conference: They will monitor, facilitate and if necessary moderate the on-line discussions. Introductory sessions will be webcast live viaĀ Elluminate audio-graphical conferencing, and will also be recorded and made available for off-line viewing. The discussion on the site will continue for a few days after the keynote, and then we will publish aĀ report summarising the emerging issues and insights. In theĀ convergence week the public will have a last chance to discuss the issues. A report summarising the e-conference will be published on-line and presented at the conference in Dakar. The UN Girls' Education Initiative E4 Conference will be held in Dakar in May. Leading up to the conference an e-conference will be held online over a period of 5 weeks focusing on the below topics:
