UN: Annual discussion on women's rights - "Violence against women / girls"

Summary: On 10 June, a full-day of discussions will be held on women's rights during the 17th session of the Human Rights Council. The theme for the day will be violence against women and girls.

The programme for the day will consist of two panels:

Panel 1:

"Good practices and remaining gaps in the prevention of violence against women"

Panel 2:

"Conflict-related violence against women"
