Summary: Objectives: provide an international
forum for critically investigating the
threats and opportunities from the
digital divide on rural populations;
highlight lessons and experiences
learned from best practices; explore
possibilities of networking of best
practices; build partnerships
between key stakeholders.
The Conference deliberations shall culminate in the development
of follow-up and joint action in line with the World Summit for
Information Society (WSIS) to be presented at WSIS 2005 in
Tunis, Tunisia.
