TOY Conference: ‘Senior Citizens and Young Children building age-friendly communities in Europe’

Invitation to TOY  Conference

International Child Development Initiatives (ICDI) invites you to the final conference of  TOY (“Together Old and Young) ‘Senior Citizens and Young Children building age-friendly communities in Europe’  in the Kinderrechtenhuis, Leiden 28 October 2014.

During the conference, we shall hear the results of the European-wide TOY project studies and will explore new opportunities for developing intergenerational contact.

Elly Singer, senior researcher Universiteit Utrecht will chair the conference.

The key note speakers are:

Elena Luppi, University of  Bolognia

Anne-Sophie Parent, General Secretary AGE Platform, Brussel

Mafalda Leal, EuroChild, Brussel

Following the conference, all participants are invited to a drinks reception hosted by the city of Leiden at the city hall.

Conference registaration costs €35 p.p. and includes coffee, lunch and drinks reception. For students we have a special rate of €10 p.p.
