Third International Workshop on Indigenous Children and Youth

Summary: The focus this year is on the
Education of Indigenous Children.
The program begins with an update
on recent UN activities that impact on
indigenous children's lives. The
agenda will also include
presentations by experts from
various agencies (such as UNESCO)
and from indigenous organizations,
groups and programs.
Interpretation will be available in Spanish and French.

Applications for accreditation (and invitations used to facilitate
visas) should be addressed to Julian Burger at the Office of the
High Commissioner for Human Rights (jburger.hchr@unog.ch),
with a copy to each of the organizers. In order for badges to be
ready in advance, the full name of the participant as it appears
on the passport and the organization or group represented
should be submitted by July 10.
