Summary: The Festival constitutes a generating action -
probably that of major impact, but not the only
one - of a set of systematical and
complementary, convergent actions towards
the achievement of the goals of the
Association Nueva Mirada.
To contribute to the cultural and educational development of
children and youth, through the audiovisual media, and to the
knowledge of the cultural diversity, social and aesthetic view of
the world enriched by high quality audiovisual material.
To increase the production and distribution of audiovisual
material directed to children and youth.
To enhance the understanding of cultural diversity as a
contribution to a culture of peace through the involvement of
children and youth from different regions of the world.
To provide an opportunity to discuss and reflect on the
relationship of audiovisual language and ICTs (information and
