Workshop
There will be a preparatory workshop for members under the age
of 18 years of government- and accredited, invited NGO
delegations attending the third Preparatory Committee meeting
of the Special Session of the General Assembly on Children, to be
held in New York from 11-15 June 2001.
When: Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 June 2001 (from
9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.)
Where: Labouisse Hall, UNICEF House, 3 UN Plaza, East 44th
Street (between 2nd and 1st Avenue), New York
For whom: Under 18 members of government- and
accredited NGO delegations
The workshop is being organised by the NGO Steering
Committee’s ‘Under 18 Participation Task Force’, under the overall
co-ordination of Save the Children and UNICEF.
