NETHERLANDS: The Children, Youth and Development Diploma Programme

The Children, Youth and Development Diploma Course at ICCYS is now accepting applications for their 2010 term (April-July). The CYD Course is a ten week programme provided by ICCYS (ISS-ICDI Collaboration in Child and Youth Studies), a joint initiative of the Institute of Social Studies (ISS) in the Hague and International Child Development Initiatives (ICDI) in Leiden, The Netherlands. It responds to the increased concern at national and international levels for the protection of children and youth, the promotion of their rights and well-being and their capacity to play an active role in their own and their society's development. The course is aimed at child and youth care professionals from developing and transitional countries around the world.
