Melaka International Youth Dialogue

Summary: this year's theme is Youth
Participation in Decision-Making
Processes. The Int. Youth Dialogue
will be the platform for young people
to take stock of their efficacy in
decision-making processes at various
levels. It will also impart critical skills
and knowledge to ensure that
participants are properly equipped to
participate meaningfully in decision-
making processes.
The Melaka International Youth Dialogue (MIYD) is an annual
event organised by the World Assembly of Youth in collaboration
with the Melaka State Government, Ministry of Youth & Sports,
Malaysian Youth Council, Asian Youth Council and World Youth
Foundation. This year, the United Nations Children’s Fund is also
a partner in the event.
