During the presentation, Maplecroft CEO, Alyson Warhurst, Human Rights Researcher Marilu Gresens and Maps and Indices Researcher Helen Brown, will highlight obstacles faced by adolescent girls globally, using the maps and data available on the Girls Discovered website and explaining:

  • The issues currently faced by adolescent girls and why they are particularly vulnerable
  • Why it makes sense to focus on girls from a developmental, economic and social point of view
  • How the Girls Discovered website works, focusing on the maps and data available on the website
  • Options for developing the website and potential opportunities for other organisations to become involved
