the Euro-Med Youth Programme.

Euro-Med Youth Seminar
“Youth Voluntarism in the Community”

Date: 13-19 March 2005

Venue: Tel Aviv - Israel

Target groups: Youth workers, Youth Leaders, trainers, facilitators, Youth
coordinators, NGO representatives. Preferably with some experience of
work in the Euro-Med Youth Programme.

Language:
The language that will be used in the Seminar is ENGLISH

This Seminar is being organized within the spirit and objectives of the Euro-
Med Youth Programme.
Aims:
* Networking & Contact making for future projects within the Euro Med
partnership
* To share knowledge and experience of the participants in the field of
youth volunteerism in the community.
* To expose the participants to the youth voluntary work in Israel and to
meet different groups in Israel that work in the field of Youth Voluntarism.

Themes:
 Volunteerism supporting a healthy society – its influence and
contributions to the community.
 Voluntreeng of young immigrants as a tool for social inclusion
 Youth volunteerism as a tool for intercultural cooperation
 Youth volunteerism as a tool for acquiring new skills and active
citizenship

Methodology:
Plenary Discussions, Workshops, Good experience visits and ODT (Out
Door Training)

NAs, NCs, EC, Euro Med Youth platform, NGOs

Deadline for applications: 29th December 2004.

Travel costs will be reimbursed by NA/NC.
Full accommodation provided.
Programme will be provided to the candidates.
