Summary: What is corporate social responsibility (CSR), where are the new set of expectations surrounding CSR taking us, & what questions do they raise for private enterprise, governance and public welfare provision? The course will look at how & under what conditions private sector action can lead to positive social welfare outcomes, e.g. poverty eradication.
