Complaints mechanism to the CRC: online seminar

Summary: 10-11am Geneva time

An online seminar hosted by the World Bank on 8 November from 10.00 to 12.00 which will connect Tokyo to Geneva, will present the OP CRC campaign to NGO staff, lawyers, students, journalists and government officials in Japan.

The seminar will also be accessible live on a streaming service on the internet; this means that anyone interested could watch the seminar and listen to the presentation and Q&A session.

The seminar will discuss:

  • Where we are now in the OP process
  • Next steps (upcoming negotiations)
  • Short explanation on collective communications
  • Key provisions of the Chair's draft and our key responses to them and why (key arguments)
  • Q&A session

Those watching the seminar online will not be able to ask questions directly, but can send their questions by email to Anita Goh at goh@childrightsnet.org to be answered after the event.
