conference will focus on taking
account of the views of children and
young people. It will examine how
children¹s voices are heard in the
family; in the community and at a
national level.

The conference will be chaired by Brian Taylor, BBC Scotland¹s
Political Editor, and speakers will include Peter Clarke, Children¹s
Comissioner for Wales, Dr Marjorie Smith from the Thomas Coram
Research Unit and Jyttte Jensen, National Council for Children in
Denmark
