Child participation in child safeguarding

Summary: The overall aim of the training is to increase participants knowledge and skills in engaging children in organisational efforts to strengthen their child safeguarding measures.

The training will be offered as 4 modules: understanding child safeguarding and engaging children in safeguarding efforts; building knowledge and skills to use the Keeping Children Safe toolkit for child protection to engage children in safeguarding measures; introduction to competencies for child participation; and introduction to competencies for training.

Participants can opt to take between one and three modules over the course of the five days training.  For a full description see the course description document.
