6th International Congress on AIDS in Asia and the Pacific

Summary: Takes place in Melbourne, Australia

The Asian and the Pacific regions are dynamic places with diverse
cultures. Yet they also share a range of problems related to the
growing and multifaceted inequality that fuels the AIDS epidemic.
Consider how inequality is expressed through the regulation of
gender and sexuality. Consider how any response to AIDS needs
to address the determinants of vulnerability, which include
population mobility, drugs, and sex work.
