Save the Children’s Advocacy Work on Violence Against Children [Arabic]

Summary: At a global Save the Children workshop in Bangkok in 2003, 25 participants representing Alliance members from Canada, Denmark, Norway, Romania, Spain, Sweden and UK agreed to propose a few key themes for Save the Children advocacy: children's participation, children in conflict with the law, physical and humiliating punishment, sexual abuse of boys and girls and gender-based violence. These were later presented at the Members’ Meeting in Bangkok. Since then, work on these themes has continued and submissions to the UN Study have been made, or under way, for all of them.pdf: http://www.crin.org/docs/SAVE_THE_CHILDREN_Advocacy_Leaflet_on_VAC_(Arabic).pdf
