Media Literacy Network


The Media Literacy Network is a Hellenic non-profit organisation founded on 2004 in Athens.  Its aim is to activate, promote, and develop projects in the fields of media literacy and audiovisual education.  It continues the activities of the European Children’s Television Center and holds the previous experience of its collaborating artists, educators and worldwide network, along with all audiovisual and printed archives that have been produced since 1990.  The Network works in close collaboration with 180 specialists in media literacy and audiovisual education field from around the world and collaborates actively with the non-profit organization Image and Environment and the Cultural Organization of Rhode Island in order to organise and promote screenings and seminars on environmental issues.  It develops an on-line network archive for experimental works on audiovisual education and for innovative educational projects that will be developed in the European Audiovisual area.
